What is a Giclee?

Giclee prints are individually produced, high-resolution, high-tech reproductions on paper or canvas that use archival pigments and materials. Invented in 1989 as an advanced method of fine art printing, giclees, according to the Fine Art Trade Guild, are superior to traditional lithography in all ways. The colors are brighter, last longer, and capture a gamut of tones and crisp details impossible with lithography. Giclee inkjet printers, using professional grade nozzles, spray 6 fade-resistant colors that blend on the paper creating, not dots, but true shades and hues. This technology allows the creation of vivid fine art prints that closely match the original work. During the proofing process, the artist makes sure the colors of the print match the original work. Terry Rosenfelder, by individually signing each print, certifies that the image is an authorized, inspected, top-quality archival print closely resembling his original painting.

Caring for your Giclee Print

Archival giclee prints use special inks formulated for high resistance to fading. As with all other valuable art works on paper, as, for example, with watercolors, lithographs, and photographs, your giclee print should be framed under glass or acrylic, and not be exposed to direct sunlight, temperature extremes, or high humidity for extended periods of time.

Payment

In the USA: Your signed giclee print, certificate of authenticity, and artist bio will be mailed FREE via US Postal Service Priority Insured Mail in a sturdy triangular tube.  By request, you may have your print order sent flat for an additional fee of $7 per order.

International orders are welcome.  However, before submitting your order, email your address and request the amount to be added for air mail shipping/handling.  Your print(s) will be mailed in a sturdy round 3" mailing tube.  International orders must be paid through PayPal or Visa/Mastercard through PayPal in US currency.  No international personal checks will be accepted. 

Prices are for loose prints on acid-free enhanced matte paper, and include a copy of the artist's bio and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.    Buy online with Visa or Mastercard through PayPal or mail a Cashier's check or money order to Terry Rosenfelder, 806 Santa Maria Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28411.  Sorry, but personal checks will be held 10 days to allow time for the funds to clear bank.

Online ordering is safe and secure.  All confidential information is transferred over PayPal's secure server with powerful data encryption.  PayPal is designed be one of the safest ways to send money online.
